Make one row

  1. Forward pass: skip the first stitch. Insert the hook from front to back between the front and back vertical bars of the next stitch, below the horizontal strands. Yarn over and pull up a loop. Repeat across; work the last stitch under both strands of the edge.
  2. Return pass: yarn over and pull through 1 loop, then yarn over and pull through 2 loops until 1 loop remains.

Keep it loose

Tunisian knit stitch is thicker than Tunisian simple stitch and can be hard to insert into. Use a hook two sizes larger than usual and keep the loops loose on the forward pass. It curls strongly; block it or add a border.
